Developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920’s, the Pilates method uses a whole-body approach to gaining strength and improving function by accessing your deepest core muscles. The exercises focus on alignment, precision, and flow as a foundation for building strength and flexibility throughout the body. Pilates helps control of the body through all ranges of motion and is very joint-friendly when performed correctly.
We offer a variety of mat classes, equipment classes and specialty classes to accommodate your fitness level and improve your wellness. We also offer private and semi-private sessions in classical and rehabilitative Pilates.
